The water was too low to go out in the boat (the pontoons were actually sitting in the mud) so I took some pictures from the yard of our camper on Neely Henry Lake. This was taken on 24 Nov 09 around 3pm using a Canon Rebel T1i. TV of 1/99; F/S 5.7; ISO 200 with a 113mm lens. The colors of fall were just beginning to be reflected in the water.

Angie and I went to the bridge on the walking trail near Trinity Church in N. Piedmont. We caught our shadow with the bridge and I thought it was an interesting shot. (Nances Creek)

We got some snow on the 12th of Feb 2010. I took this shot on the 13th. Our Cedar Tree finally got decorated for Christmas. |

This little puppy wanted to be involved with what I was doing and when I took a picture of this holly bush, she grabbed a limb and shook it. |
I have always wanted to paint, but never had a talent for it. I took my first painting class today and below is the very first painting I did. Teacher was David Arnette of Dad's Studio in Piedmont. I can't wait for my next class! |

We had a nice day so we spent some time at the lake. Frank and Ducks did some fishing. |
This is my second painting, finished it today, 29 Mar 10.
